Wine & Siena 2018 Degustazioni Siena

The Wine & Siena event has just ended, one of the few truly important events dedicated to wine in Siena.  During the two days of the Sienese kermesse, it was possible to taste a wide selection of wines and other gastronomic specialties from almost all Italian regions, mainly central and northern, and some foreign wines.

More than 150 producers participated at the event, and more than 500 wines could be tasted.The selection work done by the organizers, together with the commitment and skill of the producers, made sure that only good products arrived in the tasting, inside which there were real excellence: a real enocultural trip to the whole peninsula where we could taste the most famous and well-known wines, up to real gems almost unknown, that is to say wines made with old vines recovered, produced in small quantities by real winemakers who want to better enhance their territory.
