This is possible thanks to Corpus Mine, Exhibition of Contemporary Art present at the Mining Museum of Montecatini in Val di Cecina.

The Val di Cecina, dominated by the beautiful art city of Volterra, brings together numerous sites of cultural and landscape interest. Among these stands Montecatini Val di Cecina, famous for centuries for the flourishing copper mine, now abandoned, but not entirely.

In fact, it is possible to visit it thanks to the cooperative Itinera and to the constant commitment of the local municipality. The well-reasoned visit, perfect for young and old, it is today even more appealing thanks to Corpus Mine.
This small exhibition masterpiece moves between the walls of the ancient mine to its deeper belly to tell through the works of 10 artists the deep bond between the territory and the mining world.

Ancient rusty finds, deep wells, local miners: all of a world of the past that animates and is told through the works exhibited.
