Designer, artisan, entrepreneur, ambassador of Italian haute fur. "For my clients I am Marilena, simply; over the years, I celebrated my clients that always recognize me honesty, discretion, enthusiasm in the work."

Born happily in the mountains of Pratomagno, Marilena lives the splendor of the 60s. Immediately child, decided to leave her native land, the school, to follow a friend of Florence: the goal is to learn from the best Florentine craftsmen the art of tailoring the fur.

"I was 9 years old when, from morning to evening, I decided to go to Florence accompanying Mrs, Lollo.
I immediately had the honor to practice with a great teacher: Cristina Rucellai, Florentine noblewoman who saw in me a great talent from the beginning. At age 19, former teacher fur, I decided to make the big step.
I opened my own studio workshop in San Frediano. I remember the gala event, which was organized in my honor to launch the my new business.
After the success of Florence, in the 80s I decided to return to my homeland, Pratomagno, while continuing to travel extensively to select the best leather and to serve an international clientele now.

Today I wellcome friends and customers in the atelier at Loro Ciuffenna: I love bringing young girls to the culture of beauty, good italiana taste. I realize more and more that young people do not know how to recognize genuine leather, quality tailoring, the naturalness of the leather.
