Spritz Aperitif

The word Spritz comes from the German spritzen verb, spraying. During the nineteenth-century occupation of Venice, the Austrians used to lower their alcoholic rate to splashed in a glass of white wine of seltz, heavily carbonated mineral water, so sprinkled with Spritz! The essential and indispensable elements to taste and prepare according to the original recipe: the white wine tassatively firm, not sparkling, so no Prosecco; the glass contained, not unobtrusive; ice is only a hint, because it  too water not exalts the flavors. The recipe has been enriched by variations and different possibilities: to the two basic ingredients, the wine and a sludge splash, add Aperol, or Select, or Bitter Campari.
