SARTORIA ROSSI
FIRST INTERNATIONAL OPENING IN MOSCOW
April 20th, 2014 – MOSCOW

Exclusive fabrics, a continuous style research and a welcoming staff. Sartoria Rossi's mono-brand boutiques and strategic placement make the envy of the fashion elite. These are the ingredients of the company luxury concept, which, for over 30 years, conceives the art of making formal and cerimony clothes with a unique and personal approach.
Sartoria Rossi represents the excellence in the Italian classic men's clothing panorama.
The only production site and headquarter is located in Marciano della Chiana, in the province of Arezzo, close to Florence. Over the years, Sartoria Rossi has established its retail chain in 12 Italian cities, with 17 boutiques.
The stores structure is that of “pure retail”, meaning Sartoria Rossi’s branded products are only sold in boutiques directly controlled by the group. The offer is divided into two categories, prêt-a-porter collections and made-to-measure, both in the full respect of the traditional tailoring.
Riccardo Falcai, the company owner, briefly explains: "The product is the key to our success, we would not have been able to open the stores without our excellent suits. Location is another important point: the brand is starting to be renowned because our stores are a reference point for locals and tourists in 12 italian important cities, due to their central and prestigious positioning.” For example the boutiques of Milan in Piazza Duomo, or the one of Firenze in Via della Vigna Nuova and of Bologna in Piazza Maggiore, just to name a few.
The last boutique opened on June 20th 2013 in Venice, in the Cannaregio area.
Riccardo explains how Sartoria Rossi’s clothes custom-tailored or ready-made are welcomed by the market: “The quality/price ratio of our made-to-measure clothing is very beneficial for the Italian customer and very attractive for foreigners. Italian people have in their DNA the love for quality and recognize it in all its forms. Affectionate foreigners often require our product to be delivered to them abroad with fix frequency. This let us understand properly how to structure our foreign market and how much Sartoria Rossi’s products are welcomed.”
The year 2014 is started building an ambitious project: the opening of the first mono-brand boutique abroad and Moscow is the designated city on 20th April. The location is the prestigious mall Galereya Moskva or Mode Season, in Okhotny Ryad 2 on Red Square, in front of the Bolshoi Theater. 50 square meters of absolute elegance alongside big names like Chanel, Canali, Piquadro, Escada.
“For us it is not a challenge but a natural step, and the first ground where to land needs to be a BRIC country. We already have a large audience who started to get in contact with us to find out the exact date of the store opening in Moscow. Going through this strategic path, we succeeded in imprinting our vision and commercial idea to the project. We have no partners, no franchisees. From the definition of the fashion collection to the management of the company financial status everything is completely centralized. Unlike China, Russia still allows this kind of mechanism and for Sartoria Rossi it has always been the key to success within the domestic market. Moreover, it has been a necessary step even for internationally big brands, which have adopted this strategy in times of crisis. We, as to say, overstepped the problem.” Russian tourists, in particular, have been increasing a lot lately and have come to know Sartoria Rossi in their travels in Italy. It was almost impossible not to get into our boutiques, attracted by the Italian quality and, in recent years, especially by word of mouth. From April 20th, Sartoria Rossi is officially into the games in Moscow city, the company's first step to internationalization.
